As you can see, Debbie and I are within walking distance of the beaches of Oscoda, Michigan. In the summer we can kayak on the Au Sable River, hike through the forrests or go swimming either in Lake Huron or in the river. It is a sportsman's paradise with hunting of every kind and fishing that can hardly be beat. In the winter there is cross-country skiing, snow boarding or the hunting continues. It is indeed a "winter wonderland" of plentiful snow.
